One of the greatest things about working for L & D Mail Masters is the encouraged civic engagement by President, Diane Fischer. In a previous blog, we discussed the company-wide giving initiatives that L & D Mail Masters provides. Director of Business Development for L & D Mail Masters, Jill Peden, has taken the role of community engagement to another level. She has been very active for the 16 years she has worked for L & D Mail Masters. This year, she was named a “Southern Indiana Star”. In years past, Hosparus Health holds a Dancing with our Southern Indiana Stars event for Kentuckiana where eight dancers are chosen to raise money and train to dance in an extravagant night-out.
Hosparus Health provides comprehensive care for patients and families facing serious illness. Started by a dedicated group of volunteers in 1978, Hosparus Health is a fully accredited nonprofit provider of premier palliative and hospice care services. Hosparus Health is one of the top 20 nonprofit hospice organizations in the United States, serving nearly 7800 patients and their families in 37 counties in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
Hosparus Health being such a life-saving organization for many in our community, we are proud of Jill Peden for being selected to dedicate fifth months to this cause. She will train for the big night, as well as raise money for Hosparus Health.
