According to Reputation Institution, “People’s willingness to buy, recommend, work for, and invest in a company is driven 60% by their perceptions of the company, and only 40% by their perceptions of the products.” Perceptions are easily affected by corporate social responsibility programs or CSRs. A couple of examples of major corporations’ CSRs are as follows:
- Starbucks – Focuses on the brewing of “green” coffee.
- Kenneth Cole – AIDS awareness; created “Awareness Products” which allows all proceeds from these specific products to go towards AIDS awareness and other meaningful social issues.
- Toms Shoes – Buy a shoe, donate a shoe. Toms shoes donates one pair of shoes to a child in need every time someone buys their shoes. It allows the consumer to feel as though they are directly impacting the world, as well.

In 2017, L & D Mail Masters has recycled 53.11 tons of office paper. Get this-according to a University of Southern Indiana study, each ton of paper can save 17 trees.
