Inserting
Intelligent inserting equipment allows us to process highly personal information pieces such as bank statements and benefit summaries. Our equipment allows us to process at high speeds ensuring your projects are dropped into the mailstream on time. Processing many sizes of envelopes up to 10 x 13.
Inkjetting
Our Inkjet department strives to make printed pieces personal while insuring quality and accuracy. Addressing for postal automation, codes and custom cancellations, and endorsement placement are just some of the possibilities with inkjet technology. We can also tab (wafer seal) the mail piece in line with the inkjet equipment using white or clear tabs.
Labeling
Labeling applications can include anything from addressing a piece to placing a larger label to be inkjetted at a later date. L & D has the capacity to apply pressure sensitive and Avery labels on any project.
Card and Magnet Pick and Place
Affixing a membership card for your client or wanting them to have a magnet with your contact information can be a great way to increase direct mail results. We make this process easy with our pick and place equipment to ensure your product stays with its direct mail piece when it reaches your client.
Automated Presort
Postage expenses can really add up in just day-to-day business activity. Having L & D presort your 1 oz. and 2 oz. first class mail everyday is convenient and cost effective. We update our machines regularly with cutting-edge information to ensure the best sort, even on hand-written mail. Our motivation is to sort every single piece of mail possible while allowing you to meter at a discount rate.
Polybagging
Cross promoting products or services using direct mail can be a very effective way to boost sales. Our polybag equipment uses US Postal Service approved poly film which allows us to give you the same postage discounts on polybagged mail as we can on presorted mail. Polybagging is useful for protecting mail that you would like to be seen while in the mailstream. It is also another way to package items with special sizes such as journals or magazines.
